Blueberry Steel Cut Oatmeal
This freezer friendly oatmeal is one of our favorite kid-friendly breakfast recipes! Make a large batch or two and freeze into single serving pucks.
Quick cooking steel cut oats
Cook steel cut oats according to package.
Add frozen blueberries (or other fruit), almond milk (optional, and brown sugar (optional).
Scoop into silicone liners in a muffin tin. Place in freezer until frozen solid.
Remove from muffin liners and tin. Store in airtight container in the freezer.
When ready to heat, place one of two oatmeal pucks in a microwave safe bowl and microwave in 1 minute increments (stirring occasionally) until heated through.
This makes approximately 12 pucks. 3 pucks is approximately one normal serving of oatmeal.
